Do u agree or disagree? I strongly disagree. Statistics show that there are about 6,000 languages in the world. Promoting the use of Esperanto as the world's single language may cause the deprivation of national identity of different nationalities as global people speak the same language. The world is colorful and resplendent because of diversity in language.

I wouldn't want to give up my language for a single language world wide, but as a second language that whole world could converse in might not be a bad idea. That way when you visit another country that does not speak your first language, you could still converse with someone in the country you are visiting.

No guys! You are totally wrong! The propost of Esperanto is not to replace every languagues of the world, but to be an auxiliary language to everybody! Actually, the true propost is to facility the communication between peoples of world-wide! It's easier you learn just one language and can communicate with everybody in the planet than have to learn about 6,000 languages to do the same thing, do you agree?

I disagree with the single language thing, It can make sense to the local areas and geography.. but doing the single language worldwide thing who out of all the 6,000 and more languages will ever agree on a language that is not their first? ... I won't, althought I love to learn and study different languages... I agree no global single language for all, and if they MUST use a global language.. Then use Sign Language.. As then those who can not see can feel the signs with their hands, and those who can not hear can speak it as well, but there are more than one sign languages out there too, so which to choose? :) ... - DNatureofDTrain

what a stupid idea to use esperanto? undoubtedly, i disagree. i think it must be a idea of a lazy one who dont want to learn other language but try to communicate with others. if the esperanto became true, there would be more unemployment. we know that every language is unique, that's the variety makes world colorful.
