Overwhelmed by Mount Laundry!

I took the day off yesterday from laundry and today I have two loads. This isn't counting the bedding, towels, curtains but it seems to me that a load a day for a family of four is too much. When the kids were smaller, the clothes were smaller. But now with the cooler weather and the clothes are bigger, I have to wash every day. Now for me I will wear my pjs and jeans a couple times. Also if I only wear it for an hour or so I may just hang it up. But the kids only wear their clothes once and then it goes in the wash. How many loads do you do in a week? Do you wear things twice? I feel overwhelmed by Mount Laundry!

I live on the outskirts of Mount Laundry! It seems I wash a load a day. On some days, I wash 2 loads. It's a never ending process. I've switched laundry soaps, because the stuff is so expensive. I keep the Downy brand, and clorox 2 or oxyclean. I wish I had a maid...

I hear ya! It seems like I never can relocate farther from the mountain no matter what. I buy unscented laundry soap because my daughter's sensitive skin, but I usually can find some cheaper brands that caring it. I need a maid too! LOL

I do it twice a week. Never had to do it more that.. Mine is a family of three. I wear my jean and pjs twice and so does my husband and kid.

Sometimes when the weather is bad I leave mine "cause I like to dry on the line, yet even with just me I can end up with 3 loads.

I used to wait for good weather but couldn't stand the amount of laundry that piles up. I have a clothes line in the basement and put them out on that too. Thanks
