How is SpiceJet? Are they notorious for flight cancellations?

I've just booked a ticket on the Chennai-Ahmedabad sector through spicejet for December and would like to know if they are a good airline. A lot of people tell me they cancel a lot of their flights. Is it true? Is there any website where I can read about how often flights are cancelled etc?

I am very satisfied with the service of Spicejet. The best part the flight runs on time, and I have hardly ever got delayed in Spicejet.The interiors are clean and have decent sitting space. I have almost been regularly using spicejet for my travels. Both official and personal. Good thing is that there is not too much difference between the other regular flights and this economy flight.

i really agree . i used spicejet to travel from delhi to goa and back. the flight was on time . the interiors were neat and clean . the seats were very comfortable. i didnt found anything to complain. believe me i am not any employee of spicejet. when a person travels by air the main aim is to reach the destination safely and comfortably and that was fulfilled in spicejet .

I had been to to New Delhi by Spice jet 27 sept it is a good airline who will grow and become senior airline, staff were courteous and helpful.But request for a coffee refused.But better than Go Air.
