I am always a fan to people who had dedicated their life to make a difference. Al Gore is one of them. Minutes ago, the announcement came and made official that "An Inconvenient Truth" author and star Former US President Al Gore wins the 2007 Nobel Peace Price for creating awareness on the urgency of the planetary problem on "global warming." What can you say about Mr. Gore's award?

From what I have read there is Global Warming but it is a cycle and not caused by man. One example is that there was a report that stated that man put in 6000 Tons of pollution into the atomspere each year. During the eruption of Mt St Helen's it is estimated that there was about 6,000,000 tons of ash and pollution put into the atomsphere. A judge in Britian has ruled that ther are 9 false statement/conclutions in Al Gore's movie. There is a group that is offering $125,000 reward to anyone who can prove by scientific method that Man is the cause of Global Warming. No takers. people agreeing that man is the cause does not make something true. There are many people who beleive the earth is flat but that does not make it so. I beleive that the earth is warming up but then Mars, and the other planets are also warming up. The Liberal answer to Global warming is higher taxes and more government. Look at Al Gore's House and his energy use. He pays himself to buy carbon credits. He want us to buy Carbon Credits from him to combat global warming. He has a nice scam going for him.

I think the award adds validity to the cause of protecting the environment, and doing what ever can be done to address the issue of global warming. It will also help to raise awareness. Like you, I commend those that try to make a positive difference. Clearly our environment is of vital importance to us all, and pollution and destruction of rain forests is not good for the environment.

I don't really know about this. Whether Al Gore is really a nobel peace person by telling us about global warming. But his "Inconvenient Truth " is really waking up people all over the world. So, the only thing that matters right now, is how to prevent it. Whether it caused by man or not. How we can stop the global warming for being further and further. I just felt hopeless if i know there is absolute nothing we can do about it.

A British Court has ruled that at least 9 of his points are wrong and if the film is shown in schools then they must point out the points that are wrong and explain the other side. It seems that the "Inconvenient Truth" is lacking in the Truth.

Ummm... Yeah. Al Gore is a tool. Must be easy to exploit yourself to win something that others have struggle for and more ably deserve than and American politician of his caliber.
