hey there. i see we somehow are nature lovers both. i love leaves as well. in fact, i downloaded a lot from a photographer's website. i like the greens. we have a truly wonderful world of creations. as to the leaves, i like mostly the ferns. i don't really know why. i guess fern leaves represent to me unity, its leaves are binded together in long stalks. i just get a different feeling staring at the ferns. there is one local plant here in the Philippines called "Celia". It is named after a woman. It is heart-shaped as well and can grow big leaves too, it is a vine, splashed with olive green and yellow-green colors. it is amazing when it covers the outside walls of my house. And there is a sad tale about this plant, broken hearted, she turned into a vine now called Celia. No wonder this heart-shaped plant is beautiful, LOVE still shows prominently in her leaves.

What a pretty heart shaped leaf, and great pic of it too hun! I haven't really found any leaves that have really interesting shapes, but I have found really nice colours! Whenever I see a bright red maple leaf it reminds me of our countries flag for Canada! Love & Hugzz, Your Buddy, PurpleTeddyBear!

I love that picture. It's very cool! Last year, my friend who moved to Az asked me to take pictures of trees that had turned because that doesn't happen down there. So I started taking pictures. I saw a few leaves that looked like catcher's mitts. Mostly, I love the Maples that are three colors right now, red, yellow and green all at the same time in one tree. Also I think the Staghorn sumac (poisonous are white) turning red-leaved are cool. But I never realized that Oaks turn a funky brown that in some light can also look purplish until she asked me to take pictures for her. This time of year is so beautiful. Take care
