OK, so I bought a new LCD monitor so I can do a better job of working my photos inn Photoshop. I'm having a dickens of a time calibrating it. All the tricks I used for my CRT monitor don't seem to work on this. I've even tried Adobe Gamma and just can't get a good balance between brightness and contrast. Anyone out there have any suggestions? What do you use to calibrate your LCD monitor?

You can defintely use some professional software to do this, besides, check the following article for a calibration without any software. http://www.pcworld.com/article/id,110070/article.html
