the dictionary defines siesta as a mid-day nap, its a short sleep usually done by a person in the afternoon. it has been a customary of the filipino to take siesta, in our home it is usually done after lunch. i also do this when i have time, usually during weekends. that's the reason why i love weekends. lol. in your place, do you also do this?

Hello there. I thought Spaniards take siesta, I didn't know Filipinos take siesta too. I know in Spain, shops and offices are closed for long lunch to allow employees to go home to take siesta. My country does not have such practices. The last time I take a nap was when I was in college. As a working adult now, I do not have time to take naps. I love sleeping and would love to have time to take naps in the afternoon. I believe taking naps improves productivity.

The Mediteranian people are probably right when comming up with the siesta. However, this is meant to be taken as a quick nap rather than a knock out out-deep sleep session. - A quick nap in the Middle of the day seems to make people more active afterwards

Once in a while I like to take a little nap. Especially when I started working at 6h30am. When I come back from work at 4, I take a 1h nap and I'm still able o go to sleep at 9h30pm after that. I need a lot of sleeps lol

Oh! I really love siesta. I do it also in weekends because I have work during weekdays. I love sleeping a lot. Sometimes after lunch I want to take even a 15 minutes sleep but I am afraid I cannot wake up and be late for my work.

It has been a long time since i have taken siesta... no matter how much i try... i can't sleep or take siesta... maybe because subconsciously i am afraid that i might oversleep and wake up late... or i also think that a few minutes of sleep will just make me want for more...
