iPod's battery

Do you have problem with yout battery too?
I cant listen more than 6 hours of music in a medium volume, because the battery always gone before.
And videos? i cant neither think in spent time watching videos..
Do you have the same problem? Any suggestion?
btw, i have a iPod Video 30gb ,5th gen. i guess

My ipod battery runs out fast, a full charge battery can only play for around 12 hours. (not long for an ipod) I am not sure if it is because it's old or something else because I did smashed it accidentally several times. Are you a new ipod? if it is , then you should contact apple , and I am sure they will gladly give you a new one, because when I got my first ipod, it was broken after a week of using, I contacted ipod and they send me a new one as soon as I send the item back to them. You should do the same.

yeah.. my ipod battery is running out too fast!! And its weird because i've never smashed it.. My ipod has about 15 months.
Its a shame that here in brazil the things dont work like that, the fixing of it is too expensive, and they dont give new products NEVER. There isnt neither a Apple Shop here =/
