If you haven't been excercising at all, I have some really good news for you. Whatever you do now will make a big difference. so go ahead start with fifteen or twenty jumping jacks or a walk around the block. Dance to your favourite song. Have you been excercising and eating for awhile but haven't seen any results? Shake up your old routine. Even running which is excellent for you, can get your body in a rut. Try swimming a few days instead. Maybe one day of Yoga. Did you know excercise is good for the brain? Yep, its now scientifically proven that letting your kids go to the playground can boost their brain power by oxygenating the brain - among other things. Its also good for your brain - you know your memory and cognitive functioning and such to shake things up in your everyday routine. Its like excercise for the brain - to strengthen, preserve and even, allow your brain to grow. Did you know even small things like using your mouse with a different hand can burn new pathways in the brain? Or try shampooing your hair with your eyes closed - or try an entire shower with them closed. Or if you have a 'routine' in the shower - mix it up. You can try a few excercises now - like - draw a picture of a house - with your eyes clothes. Change that mouse hand. Make a paper airplane and fly it. Go play bingo! Or take a walk - walking is excellent for the brain. Hey - go fly a kite! What things can you think of to shake it up - to shake up our bodies, brains or attitudes? OreoCookie - how about this for your AC thing?

I make a habit of going out everyday, and since I don't have a car, I walk everywhere..and you'd be surprised how far I can walk...LOL...I do, do a little bit of yoga everyday, but I am always promising myself to get back to a real routine again. One of my greatest forms of exercise is simply doing what I call "power-house" cleaning...I'm still doing my fall cleaning thing and hope to be finished soon..since I'm clearing out and throwing out a lot of stuff, I get a real aerobic exercise...I have to haul what I throw out by going down three flights of stairs..Another form of both exercise and a means to nourish my soul at the same time, is to take my camera and walk around photographing nature's beauty

Wow - all of these are great - walking is good all around - and power house cleaning is different from your usual routine so is a good example of what I was talking about to shake up your body and mind. And I love the idea of your camera jaunts - you're engaging your mind, your body and your spirit.

School is good for something - besides getting certified to work in a spa as a Massage Therapist - I get good article ideas! Well this is a combination of school and working as a weight loss counselor. Thanks for your words of encouragement, friend. What does Tc stand for?
