Have you seen a ghost? Who was it - someone you knew or a stranger? Were you scared, excited, relieved - or? HAve you had any paranormal experience? Maybe a night terror - do you think it was a natural sleep phenemenon or something else?

Hi artemis, It was that time when I was totally lost, had just ended my apparently most coveted marriage and was nowhere, obviously struggling to survive. I had just shifted to my parents' house. Those nights were terrible and every night I used to see visions of an unknown figure, it's kind of a silhouette. It used to stand beside my bed and put his hands all over my body. It was not a deep sleep, I used to be in trans and wanted to yell for my mom. But some strange thing didnot allow me to. I used to cry in fear and the figure used to strip me of my clothes. This vision continued for days and I was just scared sleep. I did not sleep atall and needed help. It was all due to vulnerability of that point in time that I was fighting to live.

Wow. Did you figure it all out? I've had night terrors where there is something hovering over my bed - but I screamed - after realizing I'm not dreaming and its still there - one time this kept happening the week I was visiting my mom and the first night it happened - she came downstairs - afraid I was being raped - but after that she knew it was night terrors -well she thought night mares so she stayed upstairs. I guess I had these through out baby hood and childhood.

I know exactly how it feels artemis!! Mine was a vision due to my vulnerability of my stage and with time I gradually got over it. My parents had been there constantly supporting me with the terror. One of my friends used to have terrors just like you used to have. Later on the psycho analyst said that it was due to the puberty and the body changes that she was having and her estrangement with family. love and hugs.

I've had a couple of these types of experiences and they were terrifying! Once, when I was in Junior High, I woke up and felt paralyzed. I looked around the room and there was a ghost of a man staring at me and laughing at me. It sounded like an evil laugh to me. After he disappeared I got up and couldn't sleep for a while. I know it wasn't a dream because I was wide awake. The other time, I was in an OBE (Out of Body Experience), and I was in my kitchen. Well, some guy was chasing me and that really scared me. I tried my best to wake up and finally did.

I don't have experience to see ghosts. No matter how we can not stop the believe of existence of ghosts. What we can do is to be more self confidence and don't think of ghosts all the time. Then it will no appear in front of you.
