how do you make full of your balcony? / myLot

i was told by a friend that his brother use his balcony as a study room where he placed his computer, sofa,bookcase and so on.i think it a good way to save room.it is not only used to dry our clothing,but also as a study room .how do you use your balcony?has you made full use of it?

My balcony fill up with hydrophonic gardening and plant. For spinach and green bean. I like hydrophinc gardening because it only need small space and for my own use. And sometime I change it alternately with other vegetable plants.

In some countries and cities, the municipal rules levying taxes, will charge for balconies if it is covered and used for other purposes. Some people even extend the wall to cover the balcony. It is in total violatio of building by-laws. Unfortunately corruption is so ramphant, the authorities take some money and do not take any action against those who violate the building bylaws.
