I need some creative ideas for a halloween costume party

Some of my friends are throwing a surprise costume birthday party for my friend's 18th birthday and I am completely stumped on what I should go as. Any suggestions?

Go as a Fairy Godmother?? I actually thought about this for a few minutes but it's tough coming up with some original. Good luck and enjoy the party
