People move for so many various reasons. Work, relationships, running to and running away from things, situations, and people. So I am curious. Where are you from origionally. Where do you live now. What if any is your ethnicity and/or what race or nationality do you identify yourself as. PLEASE DESCRIBE ONE. HOME NOW OR HOME TOWN. I am from Indianapolis. I now live in Southern California and I my ethnic origin is African diaspora. ( I so hate the phrase Afro-American. )

Hi sharone,I am from California, and now I live in Mississippi.I am Black. The reason, we moved is the fact that my husband is from Ms. He liked CA, but not enough to continue to live therr. At the time of his decision, the gangs were getting really bad. The rent was skyrocketing. He would say girl we could buy a place, for what we pay for rent. I hated it at first. We Live deep in the country, and I mean deep. My 2 older sons now reside in CA, my yponger is here with us. My husband was right about one thing, we will be finished paying for our house in 2009. I liked your question. Popciclecold

I am white and was born in the US. I was born in a small town in Michigan where my Dad and about 95% of my Dad's side of the family still lives (about 200 family member's). Right now I live in a small town in Missouri b/c this is where my Mom and most of her side of the family lives. !!HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

Migration is something which lots of people do and everyone has his/her own justified reasons for the same. Some very common reasons are people shifting for better job opportunities, students migrating to universities for better educational opportunities, girls migrating to their husband's place after marriage etc.

Maybe this the nature of human to move to places. Maybe this is a way to take it from the beginning, start a new life. Maybe some people are bored to stay in one place all the time so they leave everything and go to some other place. I think that a new beginning is good for everybody.Start something new...

I am originally from Melbourne, Australia, but am currently living and working in China, with no plans to return home soon. At the moment, I am living in a 'village' (Fogang), but China's idea of a village means that there are less than 1 million people. Compared to back home, China is crowded, dirty and polluted, but extremly interesting and fascinating.

I am from a county of Chongqing, China where is also my birth day place. I have been living the county for about 15 years with my middleshool time. When I became a university student, I came to Chongqing city to continue my education. Like most of youngisters with the similar ages, I wanted to go to other cities for my university education, away from my family and seek for strenghe things. While the God does not help me, although such a fierce wish, I still only got the entrance permit of one of the universities in Chongqing. I hope I can travel to many cities and places, and wish it is a aspiration that can come ture.
