Do you think it's a good way to make friends on the skype?

One of my friends has suggested me making friends on the skype, thus i can learn lots of things from them. i have tried but i found there are so many people talking about dirty things. I hate that. I want to make friends on teh skype so that i can practice my spoken english. But, i haven't found a good one.
