One of the favorite accents I have in my home decorating is little decorative lights. I have little sparkle lights above my cupboard that are entertwined with greenery.....I have a little lamp on the shelves with a red shade...in the dining room on my shelves with teapots I have a little lamp with a decorative shade that has beads and in the living room a rustice little lamp that has a star and the light barely glows from behind the star. What is your favorite decorative accent that draw the eye or enhances a certain area in your home?

That sounds lovely, a friend of mine has an older house with an open fire place and seeing as it is hot here in Australia at Christmas she puts little lights twined in greenery and then on the hearth she has candles, it really looks lovely. I have many different areas in my house that I just love, I think my guest room which I love so much I just sleeping in there...

no I didn't make the afgan I think if I remember rightly I bought that from a fete a Nursing Home was having... I find that room peaceful...
