How to download microsoft visual c# 2005?? what is the express edition??

hey people.. am badly in need of microsoft visual studio 2005.. i atleast need microsoft visual c #...
i browsed a lot for the free download.. I even got a solution.. Microsoft itself provides the express edition..
Also, my operating system is Windows xp.. it is not a genuine one.. last time when i attempted for some windows updates, microsoft found out that mine was not a genuine one.. A message was displayed each time i switched on my system..
now am afraid that, if i install microsoft visual c# express edition from microsoft site itself, then it may again find out that my OS is not a genuine one..
Then i may have to reinstall the OS, which i don't want to do...
so people please help me out!!!

It would really help if you had a friend that had the genuine Windows then he/she could download it for you. I happen to have genuine Windows myself but what you need is a huge thing and I wouldn't know how to send it to you after downloading. If you have a friend there he/she could burn a CD with it for you.
