How many are fans of working on latch hook projects? Several years ago I made 2 dogs on a pillow. This was done without a pattern, almost looks it too, and was stuffed with batting. Our cat likes to rest or sleep on it even though it's not very comfy.

MyLot is dealing me fits. Just typed this long response and it wasn't there! Grrrrr! I did a project several years ago that was on my family room wall for years. I worked for an artist and he drew downtown St. Louis and the colors needed on the material. I did the latch hook project and hung it on the wall. Took it down last year so we could paint that room so when it's back up, will take a photo of it. Thanks for responding.

I love latch-hooking! I started a Care Bear latch hook a while back but have kind of forgotten about it. I have a rug for Christmas that I haven't started yet, and I am hoping to actually have it done by Christmas. Of course that means I will have to start it! Lol.

It really is a fun craft. I was more involved when our kids were younger. I agree, you might want to start on the Christmas rug soon before it gets too close to the holidays and you are busy. Thanks for responding.

I did a latch hook rug when I was young. I thought it was neat that one rug yarn thread at a time a picture could be created. The thickness of the result and the ease of creation are really cool. We just hung it up for awhile on the wall. I like your idea of making it into a pillow better. I never thought they should be on floors like regular rugs and hanging on the wall, just seems like their could be a better use. I wonder if they would be good as curtains (with a big enough project) or wind break/stopper. My old farm house is drafty.

I did one pillow only. It's not childproof because of the eyes but loved doing it. Had an artist draw it for me on the material itself. I can't seem to picture any latch hook project as curtains but guess it could be done. Thanks for responding.
