General Mylot Rules

Ok lately I have been seeing a lot of posts that are driving me nuts. Why? Either they are the same question asked millions of times, or because people are dissing mylot, or some other weird thing. I realize I am not a "mod" or anything here at mylot...but here are things that need to be addressed. I'm going to sound like I'm being a complete witch, but at this point I really don't care. 1) Posts that say "Mylot sucks...try this website instead! (followed by a referral link)" are annoying! If mylot sucks so much, get the heck off the site! 2) Thx 4 da help dis is grt does not mean Thanks for the help, this is great! It means: I am too lazy to write out the real sentence, so you can try to translate it instead. I am beginning to have zero tolerance for these posts, as many others are as well! 3) You don't agree with someone's opinion. That's perfectly fine. What's not fine is to respond by calling the person an idiot and insulting them for their belief. Instead, make an educated response stating your opinion and why you feel the way you do. 4) Stop complaining about the earnings. Come on, you're getting paid to get advice from other people and give advice, and just have fun. How can you complain about not getting paid enough? Sure, I am guilty of this, but I have long since learned from that. Again, sorry for being so negative, but after reading virtually the same post 100 times, you can see my frustrations.

Honestly... i try to avoid discussion that run along the lines of what you posted... i like being here in mylot despite the fact that some of my discussions were deleted and the pay is very small... i have accepted the weaknesses and especially the strengths of mylot and i hope others will too... mylot is not perfect but it is a great way to pass the time, learn, and earn at the same time...

I feel the same - and to add to the last - there are plenty of sites similiar to this - discussion forums that offer nothing. This isn't exactly a way to make a living. I made a 1.70 yesterday for a few hours mylotting which is like what less then a dollar an hour. I don't take jobs which pay less then seven. At this point, nothing less then ten if I were to take a job - because childcare is so high. I'm hoping things will be different when we transfer to Pensecola.

I agree with you but theres really no need in re posting the rules of Mylot. The sites admin is pretty good with cleaning out the crappy post and fast but anyways thanks for sharing and informing the one who didn't already know.
