Does it annoy you when people talk loud? Do you talk loud? If you do im sorry. Im not singling you out. But sometimes in my classes or customers at my work just talk ridiculously loud and I just want to look at them like whats wrong with you? I can hear you just fine. Use your inside voice.

Ya. I'm always face that kind of situation. Some of them are my friends too but sigh...what to do... their just can't turn down the volume. We only just accept it. Or maybe this can help, if they talk loud at you, try to talk to them in your 'lowest sound volume' automatically their will 'adjust' their volume... haha.. I tried it works to some of them.

I know what you mean. I dislike it alike when people speak in very loud voices, too. But sometimes people who have difficulty hearing speak very loud.

I have hearing problems, so sometimes I talk loud because I can't hear myself well, and so I don't know how loud I'm talking. *shrugs* I try my best though, and it's considered completely normal and expected among my friends to tell me I'm being too loud. I don't take it personally when people do, or feel offended. If someone else is talking loud to me, I'll let them know, in just the same way I expect people to let me know. *shrugs*

i talk loud. ^__^;; but not always. that's only when im feeling hyper. it rarely happens here at work. it often happens though when i was still a student. LOL that's why i was tagged as one of the noisiest in our batch. LOL here at work though, im more subtled. LOL i know when to talk loud and i know when to "shh..". ^__^;; that's why i get annoyed to an officemate who doesn't realize where she is whenever she talks loud. she's always noisy. it seems that everyone she talks with are deaf. ^__^;; and she doesn't care if she's disturbing people who are working. people always tell her about it but she just doesn't learn. and its not only her voice that's noisy, the way she walks is noisy too. i mean with her slippers and sandals flipping and flopping all the way where she goes, sooo annoyingly noisy. .

Hi kiobug! To be honest with you, yes it does annoy me especially when I am just very close and he or she has to really talk in a very loud voice as if he or she wants everyone to hear what he or she wants to say. However, it is still something I can tolerate. haha..Take care and have a nice day.

I cannot accept loud talking around me which should be defined to a kind of noisy pollution. There is an exception. They are taling beside an assembly-line or something noisy around. To make theirselves heard, they have to talk loudly.

It seems that people forgot all about their indoor voices :) People seem to be talking louder and louder both in person or on telephones. I can understand someone that doesn't hear well, thus speaks louder. It happens and most of the times the persons don't realize they are being louder. But what I find out is that it is not this kind of situation. People are talking louder even when they hear well.

I am sometimes guilty of talking too loud especially when i am very excited about something... my friend would point this out to me and i will be embarrassed so i try to tone down my voice... i know how irritating it can be to hear someone talk very loud when the one they are talking to is right infront of them... so i try not to do this... bu sometimes... i can't help it...

I usually talk at a normal volume (well I'm pretty sure I do anyway...) but sometimes I am guilty of speaking a little louder than is necessary, without being aware of it. Although I do change my speaking volume back to normal when I do sense that I'm being too loud. Me being unaware of how loud I am usually only happens when the background noise goes from loud to quiet, while I'm speaking.

i am a loud talker, no thanks to my father who is as well. you'd think we were italian...(not saying all italians are like that, just my friends always say that cuz they are italian themselves, PLEASE i don't mean to offend or anything here). but i talk with my hands, and talk fast, and loud at times. i think when i'm angry i'm louder and when i'm excited too! my family, growing up, we all kinda talked over each other, we all always had something to say. so i still do that at times. and i feel bad if i catch myself. i'm more fast than loud though. and when i'm on the phone i talk loud...not sure why?? ha, use your inside voice!! haha! i think not everyone thinks of how loud they're really talking...that's all!! i think it depends on where you grew up too, and who you were around, and what was the environment. i find a lot of people who are in sales for example, outside sales who work on the road, in their cars a lot, who talk on cell phones NON stop, talk louder, cuz when you're in a car, on the phone, you yell, cuz you think they can't hear you or something. then it just carries over in their normal lives. but i don't think people are talking loudly at you on purpose!! but i may just be defending people like me, hahaha!! ;^}

you know what else, i always, say in public and such, talk so quietly, that people are always sayin "huh?" which REALLY irritates me, so i can't win either way. i think that's why i try NOT to talk unless i know the group of friends and such!! haha i'm loud around my fam, and not loud enough around other people...strange!! good discussion honey!!

WHAT!? THIS *IS* MY INSIDE VOICE!!! =P But yea I hear you. Sometimes I talk a bit fast or loud but family and friends don't think its as bad as you describe. Most times its during gaming, sports or reacting to news so they get it. I really don't like how people yell and scream just to talk over others or just to get themselves attention. Seems like I'm running into more and more people doing that.

What this? THE pro gamer is responding to one of my discussions?! Omg. I just feel like some people only have one volume and its uncomfortable loud. Same with their laugh. At my work, we dont play music inside so its really quiet and when people walk by they talk loud because its loud outside and we can hear everything they are saying and its hilarious. They cant hear us either. They will say stuff like look at their outfits! And I just say mean things because it doesnt matter. They cant hear what im saying anyways. Totally off subject.

I sometimes feel like I got very sensitive hearing and my girlfriend is a loud girl so it seems like shes always yelling then there's her kids and I know these guys are loud because I can hear them screaming when they are a block away. I try not to even yell because it hurts my ears but its kind of weird because I have this great big car stereo and this thing pumps but it don't hurt my ears weird eh? Maybe its the tones in people's voice that bother my ears but who knows.
