I like learning languages. I learn English, French, German and Italian. What languages do you learn? Which do you like best? Let's share experience in learning!

I am currently in the process of learning Chinese (Mandarin). I'm finding it really difficult because it's a tone based language, but at least I can order food and water now. Even with total immersion (I'm currently living in China), I'm finding it hard to learn, but I like a challenge.

In my preteen and early teen years, I had an interest in learning Japanese. I managed to acquire some Japanese words and phrases from watching anime, but I never really had formal lessons. When I was in high school, I started taking Spanish classes, even though I had no interest at the time in learning Spanish. After my first year of it, I discovered that I was picking up the language quite well. I took two more years of it in high school and am currently taking a class in college. As of right now, I'd really like to become fluent in Spanish, and I can speak and write it to some degree, but I'm far from fluent. I know far more Spanish than I do Japanese.

I don't know a lot of languages. I know the Italian because I live in Italy and I have studied English. I like English, I find it very simple and It's better to know this language because it's the most used language. However I have stuedied (and I study now) Latin, too. It's very difficult but it's very interesting!
