When I was kid, my father is the person who arrange the money flow. Some family is the mom who arrange the money flow. And now when I have my own family, I arrange the money although I myself don't have good capability to do it well (but my husband worst than me LOL)... Are there any differences between mom and dad arrange the money ?? Some people said woman is more careful and more expert in arranging money, but I don't know your opinion. I think it's right... but my father is quite good in it, he is very safe and can keep money for us until we have own family. How about your family ?

I pay the bills and make the budget. When we make a big purchase, we decide together. I'm not necessarily better at it, I just have more time then my hubby to do it.

In our culture, generally it's the mother who manage the finances at home. When I was a kid, my mother was the one who managed the expenses at home since my father being in the military was assigned away from us. And she was able to meet all that we need with a very tight budget. Now, that I have a family of my own, I am the one who takes charge and manages the expenses and other money related matters. Women I believe are generally better in budgeting than men. Women I would say are more meticulous and wise spender. When I will be away let's say 3-4 days, I already see to it and list down all the things where money is needed and leave exactly the money needed for those things with just a small allowance. This will teach the people at home especially my husband to be frugal. Women know what's more needed at home. But of course there's always an exception.

In my family my father looks after earnings and income of the family. I also aspire to take up these responsibilities but am not able to find any easy way for the same.

My mother was always more careful how money was spent in our family. She always made sure the bills were paid first, then us kids were dealt with and any left over was put away into savings. In our household my husband and i work together as a team - he takes care of the bigger issues and i deal with the day to day stuff and then let each other know what we did for that day or week. Certain purchases or expenses we talk it over first before we proceed to buy or whatever. He maintains our savings account as well.

There is only me, so I have the sole responsibility of arranging and sorting out my own finances and money! So I have no one to blame if it goes wrong except myself. I am very good at arranging and dealing with money making sure all bills are paid and investments are working well! I like money, good with it and make it work for me

Well my parents are divorced and have since remarried, so I will give 2 answers. While my parents were married, they both worked, and they would both sit down to gether and pay the bills. They always did shopping together and when there was extra money, they would decide together how to spend the money. My father and step-mom pay the bills together as well, but when it comes to extras, they feel that they don't have to ask each other anymore. My mother remarried and divorced again, now she pays all of her own bills and doesn't have to answer to anyone else. In my household, I pay the bills and do most of the spending, but hubby does have his vices, but penny for penny I outspend him over the course of a year

I think when I was a kid, my mother and my father did arranging money together. And also now, when I have my own family, I'm doing it together with my husband.I don't know who is more expert in arranging money, but since it's our money so we think we should do it together.
