First show broadcast with Drew Carey hosting the Price is Right

Right now I am watching Drew Carey on the first broadcast with him as the host of Price Is Right. It was a "perfect" show (one where all the contestants who were called won the prizes they played for). Apparently it was only the 177th "perfect" show in the history of the show. I really liked the way he hosted today. I think he's going to be alright even though I really liked Bob Barker and had my doubts when he left. He needs some work on his "false reveal", though, you know how Bob always used to keep the contestants hanging before he revealed the actual prices of prizes in games.
The coolest thing: Drew even remembered to plug "Spay or neuter your pet". Way to go Drew!

Drew is a funny guy he's a little slow still, but i think he will catch on.

Again, and now at a later date, I find that Drew is very much establishing his own presence now. He is very funny, and his roots as a comedian are obviously rating him above Bob Barker in that respect. Bob had some funny moments but I can't say I ever knew him to use comedy to carry himself the way Drew does. Personally I think Bob was really tops in this job, but I think Drew is completely redefining the role. The viewers and the audience obviously love him, too.

Darn, I totally forgot that was on today. I'll have to catch it tomorrow. I'm glad Drew did good as a host. I had a feeling he would even though bob barkers shoes are pretty big to fill. I love the way bob kept the contestants hanging!
