When we get gold or fever we run to the medical store for a drug which can control your sickness. But now it has been brought to the notice of the public that many drugs which are in use commonly have been banned and India has become a dumping ground for production and sale of drugs which have been banned around the world. I could name some drugs like vicks action 500 ,Coldarin ,DCold extra. I learn some drugs could lead to stroke in the long run. It is a alarming news that many of the doctors in the city were not aware of the ban of the drugs. With whose permission these banned medicines come to the Indian market It is high time government of India step in to and find out the culprits as to how these drugs being brought into India and what measure should be take to completely wipe out the usage of these banned medicines. I would like to know whether these kind of non prescribed medicines which causes health problems are sold freely in other countries too..share your views..

It is really a very dangerous situation.I have heard about this tendency of our country being used as a dumping ground.Actually it is the government which have to look into this matter. As a common man how can one know as these medicines are freely available & all are from well eshtablished companies .So one has to educate the public. Thanks for the informantion.
