Pizza and Movie Night

My son's school had Pizza and Movie night last Friday (was run by the PTA) and it was so much fun. They sold pizza by the slice or box as well as fizzy drinks and water and lots of different kind of dessert snacks. Boy did we eat a lot that night!
The movie they had scheduled for K - 1st or 2nd grade was Scooby Doo and for the older children, Arthur and the Invisibles.
Even though I was yawning through the movie and trying to stay awake, my son had fun sitting with his friends and laughing at the movie. It was great to see them all having so much fun. I also met a few of his friends parents and got to talking about this and that.
Does your children's school have fundraisers throughout the year? Do you participate or do you send in a donation to help with the fundraiser? What are some of the different types of fundraising events that go on at their school? Please Share!

I know you're probably getting tired of hearing me say it, but your son really does seem to have a good school. You rarely hear about schools that offer activities like that, or at least you don't around here. I'm glad you are able to be involved with him.:)

No thats fine flight, and thanks for taking time out to answer my discussions. The PTA is so involved and have the parents involved too - its so much fun. They have a whacky halloween festival on Wednesday and pumpkin carving so I'm going in to volunteer for that. Looking forward to it too.

I bet he had a great time. I would love to do something like that with my son when he is old enough to go to school. He won't be in school for a few years but I know I'm going to participate in stuff like that for him.
