I don't particularly like gossip myself, but I think we are all guilty of doing it at some time or another. We gossip without even realising it sometimes, just by maybe telling someone some news of someone else. Do you like gossip or gossiping, share your views on this.

I loathe gossip, though I do not think that telling news on someone else is necessarily gossip... what makes a thing gossip is the malicious intent connected to it.... if you are talking about another's predicament or joys etc you are not necessarily doing it with malice. I detest having ever participated in gossip it does nobody any good whatsoever.

I do gossip from time to time, it's not like nobody else does it. usually if someone said the boss and a staff have an affair LOL I'm always curious what can this staff do at work, without having the boss supporting her

I usually can't stand it but my Mom and a friend up North are terrible about it. I tend to hear alot of it but try not to talk much about it. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

Hi jan135! I really dislike gossiping. But I guess, one way or the other I have been guilty of it. However, my part on this is I just listen to them but it stopped on me because I really don't tell it to anyone. I dislike it because I know how it will do to you because I was a victim of gossip several times and I got so devastated because they were purely exaggerated and made up stories about me. However, the truth came out and the one who spread the gossip was so embarrassed and apologized to me. Take care and have a nice day.

I don't like gossip. But sometimes it is difficult to avoid because it seems to be always everywhere. However, most of the time I happen to be on the receiving end of the gossip. When I hear people talking about someone I just listen if it cannot be avoided however I do not spread the news around anymore.

Hi Jan135, personally I don't like gossiping at all. However I have a GF that loves it, and the only way she could be at piece is when someone (like me, or an other GF of hers) is willing to hear her out, which means she is going to gossip about many people she has to do with, and whatnot about their way of doing, ilnesses, mood and whatever. What I cannot stand for is when one friend starts telling me some "secrets" of an other friend. Than I am shutting them up right away. But my friends know me by now and don't do this kind of gossiping in my presence :) TheFortunes

I hate it, I got fired from a job once because I supposedly gossiped about someone at work. I never said a damn thing! It really made me mad.
