championship chances ???

with the trio of kevin garnett, ray allen and paul pierce be enoughfor them to win a championship??? I know what kevin garnett do but I'm not really sure about the other guys in their team... especially paul pierce.. I don't believe his a winner

There will be a significant improvement in the standings for the Celtics this year. But winning the championship will still be a challenge. Western teams still have the upper edge

agreed. We don't have the money like the Western teams do. And besides, we already took one championship this year so it wouldn't be a big disappointment. The Pats may go all the way though, their looking damn good.

Im no sports analyst, but the way i see it, the team got talent no question with that, but do they have the heart? and can they work well together?. Remember, the lakers with shaq, malone, payton, and kobe broke down in the end and didnt win the championship.

Do they have heart? You're talking about 3 veteran all-stars with over 30 years combined in the league, and all of them have ZERO championship rings. I can't think of a team with a core of guys who wants to win more than KG, Pierce and Allen. They're getting older and they're chance to win is now. True they have yet to be tested by the best teams yet, but this isn't a Shaq and Kobe team that is loaded with selfish all-stars, I think they've got a very good chance. But the Spurs consistency scares me...

celts are in the championship after 21 long years. the big three finally pulled it off but they will have a tough time winning against kobe and the lakers. not saying that lakers will take it but boston needs to focus and learn to end games for them to ein against la. the two road wins that boston got at detroit are great and hoipefully, they win at the forum. i think los angeles take a game at boston. i don't see los angeles beign down 0 - 2. i see a split so a win at los angeles is important for boston. either way, i think this is going to be a great series for all nba fans!!!
