Google Earth- Can it be misused?

I recently installed Google Earth. It is a program with NASA satellite pictures of the earth. You can type in any address in the world and the program will bring up a small picture of the surrounding buildings, landscape, streets etc and put a little cross over the house indicated in the address. You can then go to Google maps and get directions to this address. The program has also many other wonderful features, for instance you can go to the sky and see the stellar constellations close up. What crossed my mind is that this program could also be the perfect tool to find some-one's place and do them harm. It could be misused by Governments, groups and individuals to cause destruction and chaos. What are your thoughts on this?
