I am a student in university. From the elementary school to colleage,i am educated all the time. For every parents, they want to their children to get good education, but have you thought what is your educational motivation? Progress or Profit? What does the educational process really mean to you ? The main Objective for learning is to intake knowledge or get a better job. People easily think that the pursuit of happiness is a equation for the most rapid acquisition of money,by whatever means. But we should not make to propose of getting profit or money for recieving education. In my opinion, recieving education and learning knowledge is help us to form right world view and sense of worth.Teaching us the way of learning. What about your opinions? My frient!

I don't think the education for people is just in order to them to get a good job.In my opinion ,most of people who decide to accept the education is that: First, they can know a lot of people in the school, maybe most of them have ever met each other before, they are able to learn how to handle the social connection with people. In my collage, the students came from the different places. it can help to them to improve the cooperant consciousness. Secondly,it can tests your learning and self-control ability. commonly, before i have entered in collage school. my parents always supervised my study.but now,all of the studying things whether it be done or not are totally depend on youself, nobody cares how low your examinatorial mark.you shold make a personal learning schedule.and compare your studying grade with the top student in your class.and exchange the good experience of study with him. finally, through the collage life, you are able to learn how to solve the difficult problem which you face by youself.if you have some financial trouble, you should do some extra jobs to earn money by youself in your spare time.although your parents can give you some financial help, but it is not enough for you to buy something you want . such like computer device, the ticket for a wonderful concert, the gift's payment for your good friends' birthday..etc. it is time for you to learn how to independente.

I think we need to understand what we mean by education. Is it about getting pieces of paper or is it about looking for knowledge about something you are interested in. My feel is that if at the end of the day, all you want is the paper so you get into a good job, you will not actually be educated even if you have the paper. You will shown an ability to "mug-up" on facts and repeat them on paper. On the other hand if you are interested in the pursuit of knowledge, the chances are you will find yourself getting educated. You will pursue knolwedge and so you will learn from books and your fellow students and professors. You will develop social skills and you will learn to think -something which is actually quite valuable in the job market.

Thank you for you response.I agree with you .I don't think score is not the important one in education,we have to improve our self-control,learning how to mix in you classmate. The same to you,i am the first time to leave parents for study,i must try to depend on myself. We must learn to grow up by ourselves.Wish you will do your best in your university.

I believe that education is an important part of our lives. But the purpose of education is not only to get a good job. Even after getting a good job may not be as happy as it should be. Ofcourse it is one of the objectives (getting job). However, for me the purpose of the education is to train a person to become a good human, prepare a person for the challanges that he/she will be required to face. As a father of my children I do not give overdue importance to their results in the examinations, rather as long as possible I ask them to preserve the knowledge they have collected in thieir classes and try to use that knowledge.

I think you are a good father.Recently all most every parents presume upon their children to have a good future by getting a good education. So they pay more attention to the results in the examinations for it is the key to get in a good university. They also impose them to learn more as muisc, drawing, singing, dancing and so on.What is the happiness in children's childhood?I can't imagine. So i deem your child will have a nice childhood.

I do believe that the child should learn things like music, drawing etc. However, I do not force my child to learn anything. I try to send him to some classes to learn such things and if he likes he can continue or else he should left free to leave the class after few days. I do try to explain him that he should have knowlede of such subjects also. I feel that my job is to give him opportunity and facility to learn the things. If it is his liking, he will develop in that subject or else not.

well I believe its both. Being a parent myself, I constantly goad my son to perform well in school so that his marks are excellent and he gets a chance of admission in a good college. Passing out from a good college will give you a place in a good management institution or maybe you can go in for medicine or engineering. individual merit does matter but a good school, followed by a good college and university, does give special significance to a person's resume. now suppose he achieves all this and get a good job and handsome salary with all the benefits attached. he not only makes a profit from his education but amount of moeny he earns will also ensure a progressive lifestyle for him and his family and children. a less educated person can never hope to reach a high level of job in the corporate world until and unless its his own business! so a good education not only gives you excellent financial profits, its also your path to progress

What you said is right. Progress of a person now a days is measured by the profit they earn. One thing they have forgotten is that profit follows progress. The Objectives of education are varied. Making a person fit for vocation is just the one. The education process seeks to make the man fit for the environment. Education develops morality, personality and above all humanity among students. A well educated person truly fits in the society. Which again contribute to the national development. Education should develop wisdom among the pupil.

In today's fast paced world where money really is important. Its hard to say we do not do things for money for most of the time it is money that motivates us to do and pursue our goals. WHen your young its easy to follow your heart and just do whatever you feel is right, but when you have families and lives to support, then money becomes a factor in life especially if you have bills and debts to pay. Of course its harder to get the money that you plan for without the proper education since lots of company will hire you by your educational background and some even demands you to have PHD's or masteral degree before you can be offered high paying job. So its also important to recieve the right educational material, but eventually it still leads to how to acquire more money in the long run and eventhough your not a materialistic person, money does matter for survival.

i believe that education has the function of helping us form the right view, distinguish good and bad, and so on. however, basically, we are educated not just to get those things, what we really what is a good job and a fine future. if everyone could get a very job without hard study, would they still go to school? do you think that we really like studying or learning? or we just need a good job.
