barangay elections?

It is already near October 29, 2007. by this day the Philippines would be having a nationwide barangay elections.
have you decided who would you vote? the barangay is the smallest unit of the local government.
the officials to be elected are barangay captain and barangay councilors. these individuals settle disputes and issues that are very small and could be handled by the barangay committees. they are the first line of justice.
have the individuals trying to run for this offices already campaigning for themselves. who would you vote?

Hi rouwel23! Yes, baranggay election is nearing and most of our neighbors are talking about who to vote and others are simply shrugging it off because according to them, it is just a waste of time because these candidates will just promise the moon and the stars when campaigning but when they are elected, they have forgotten all those promises made such as the cleanliness of the baranggay, the lighted posts around us, etc.. Well, I can't really blame them for thinking that way. So, we better vote wisely and assess eaach candidate very well. take care and have a nice day.
