I'm A Veterinary Technician in an Animal ER hospital. I've Been working there for almost 20 years now. Some people "ask how can you work there"? "It's so sad,I could not do what you do." Yes, it can be very sad,and sometimes I go home crying. And there have been times when I thought, "I just cannot do this anymore"! But I keep deep emotional satisfaction knowing that everyday I get to make a difference in the lives of animals. And in the lives of their owners. I get to help save lives. And thats what keeps me going back.

This is National Veterinary Technician week, and our team of Doctors & management make a point of giving us gifts to show their appreciation of our hard work all year. But I think your response is going to be the best gift i get this year! Thank you so much for your kind words lilaclady.

Your work is just as vital as any other health professional and I admire your dedication. I cannot bear to see animals suffering and in all honesty I know I couldn't cope working in an animal hospital but I cannot help but admire people who do. Keep up the good work hun
