Nope, not me..paint and I can stay as far as possible from each other and I wouldn't feel the least bit offended..lol I cant handle paint fumes..I know it comes in odorless but such would be so much more expensive. Once you get done in your hallway come on down this way..I will let you paint my hallway too;)LOL just kidding.. Glad you are taking time to paint even though it's not on your list of favorites:)

Me not so much. My hubby...a lot. He is a good painter and learned from his uncle and that suits me fine because I am also short and do not like all the ups and downs on the ladder...the mess, cleanup...even though I do like the finished results. Trade offs in life...we all have to make them...right! Hope it all turned out the you'd hoped and that you are enjoying the fruits of your labor. Raia

All of a sudden the carpenters, painters disappeared from their business. I was wondering where they have gone. The city is having unprecedented growth in real estate business, one can see everywhere the construction activity is going on and no body is available for small works like repainting the house. So did hired some one, he did 75% of job, took 100% money and disappeared. I took the brush and the paint and completed it. It is not a difficult job and I finished it with less wastages and absolutely fantastic finish. So self help is the best help.

Sounds like you had a hard time. Have you painted since then?

My friends and I used to do a lot of painting. We would all get together and have a good time. We would paint the outside of the house for one friend and then do the inside of another. It was always fun and not a lot of work since there was about 5 to 7 of us working together most of the time. It was more like a party than work.

i guess that would be alot more fun than painting by yourself. especially the party part.

well i see you are not too far from me, so you need to come here first. I painted again and am almost finished. Once I am done with this, I need to start my daughters old room. Then mine. Yuck. The hardest part is the spackling. I have old walls and they look terrible. Oh well, you feel good once you do it.
