big girls dont cry..... true for you or false?

I am 31 and I rarely ever cry. I used to be way more emotional in my teens and early twenties. But more and more I find I don't need to cry. I used to have these power cries in my teens and I would feel so much better afterwards. But now I don't get relieve when I cry. I find it difficult to cry actually.

Hi Bad girls cry just like good girls do. They might not show it as much but they do cry. I think at some time or another even guys cry...whether they let anyone see them is another story. Jim

If I didn't cry then I reckon I would be a screwed up mess by now. I cry at the silliest things too, I cry when I am happy, I cry when I am sad, for me the emotional release is essential

Hello jHoEn16, I don't agree with the statement here. I am a big girl and matured woman and like you, I still cry a lot *laughs* It is just very hard to keep all the sad matters inside without letting them out. Whenever I have just a small argument with my hubby, I will cry (that's one of the ways to make him soften a bit... hehehe) At least, after he saw me crying, he will come and hug me and ask me to forgive him (though most of the time, it is my fault as I am too emotional ...) Okay, the conclusion is, I don't think it is a true statement where big girls don't cry. Bet we cry a lot compare to those little girls whose life means play,play,play and have fun!

Hmm.. Is 24 years old considered big? I think I am a big girl. I still cry a lot. I think I cry more than the past. I cry when I feel down, I cry when I feel sad, I cry when I feel frustrated, I cry when I watch sad movies.. etc I think I am too emotional. I think the activeness of the tear glands has nothing to do with age. =P

Thats not true.. Everyone of us cry.. there is something wrong with us if we dont. SOme of us holds back our tears coz they dont want others to see them cry. It is not true that big girls dont cry..If you are in real pain,your in sadness, your grieving of course you will surely cry..

Oh please! Big girls cry all the time. I try not to cry but sometimes I just cant help it. I dont want people to think Im a cry baby.LOL

hmmm.... for me when girls are much younger we tend to be cry babies. when girls get hurt with their first love its crying a river. but as days and years goes by this little girl will turn into a grown up and matured one. and after all the tears that this grown up woman cried she has learned her lessons already. so if you will love me and hurt me now im a big girl.... i wont cry life and love will still go on.

Crying is a wonderful way to release pent up emotions....and I do so quite frequently, myself....LOL I like the song ....but do take the lyrics too literally...

Its jsut a song but in relaity big girls do cry. I cry whenevr I am upset about something and it makes me feel so much better

Hi, Friend big girls do cry.No I am not fat but I do cry sometimes when i think about love ones who are no longer here ect.

The song, oh well, it talks of how girls have finally matured with regards to relationships. There was a phase when they cried much over a guy, but eventually was able to get over that kind of phase. It's a matter of growing up and of learning things and of rationalizing stuff when it comes to decision making. :)

Being a big girl doesn't mean that you don't have to cry. Cry is a better way to express my sadness. I used to cry when I feel something was going wrong with me. I will cry until I feel that no more tear drop from my eyes. After that, I will star to think how to fix that wrong things that I have made. If I am not cring, I am not sure I can handle my problem and found out a solution for it. So if you feel that you can handle your problem, tell it to your friend. But if you can not tell your problem to your friend, you may cry and I am ure you will feel better after crying.

Big girls dont cry maybe she learn already her mistake when she is young, that is my opinion,kids cry if they hurt, but if they grow up they will learn so will not feel hurt again & agin except if they will not learn & do again the mistake so even they are big they will still cry.
