Do you play learning games with your little baby?

I do. There passive - like pattern recognition games. Usually involving simple things like - me popping up around a pillar or using stuffed animals. I play empty and full games. And I hide toys. Play stacking blocks and such. I get ideas for games from books. Some it turns out, I was already doing which was cool. And puzzles. I go around and show him the names of things in words and in sign. I make sure he's having fun - interested - maybe even laughing. I used to think if I ever had kids they would be like a science projects - using flash cards and all sorts of things. Now I feel differently, I think he'll learn whats fun. And its no use teaching him things he won't retain because he doesn't use them everyday. Of course he has learning toys and educational dvd's and such but I'm talking about things you do with him actively. I think this is the best way for him to learn. What learning games do you play - actively play with your kids?

Thats wonderful. the way you make learning fun for your toddler. I leave these things to my mother. She teaches him so many things. and he learns quickly .

Do you participate in his learning - or do you play, cuddle and nurture him and leave that entirely to her?

Of course i cuddle him play with him and do things to make him laugh and we end up giggling away together. Many things like the alphabets rhymes and small songs were taught to my kid by my mom./SHe Is very good with kids and teaches them in a loving fun way.
