Do you also believe in other religions?

Personally I believe that there is truth in most religions, no one religion is flawless or without merits (with the exceptions of cults run by madmen). I subscribe to the believe that the divine cannot be understood by humans as we are. To help us evolve to the point that we can, different aspects of the divine was 'packaged' and delivered to us in a form which we can accept. When people got involved, religion was created. Just my two cents :p

All good things are mentioned in the Holy Bible and God commands Christians to do good works for them to be saved. Those good referred to by other religions or people came from the Holy Bible.

I am a Roman Catholic but I believe in Buddhist teachings that desire is the root cause of suffering, and the importance of mutual respect as a way to achieve harmony in this world.

I have deep respect for many religions. Most have basic truths in common. I 'believe' in those priciples of religions other than my own which echo the truths of my belief system and/or which ring true to my spirit. My own belief system does not negate any other, as my diety has no need to discount or disrespect any other diety or its followers.

Yes, I respect other religions and even curious on how they maintain their discipline. I also immitate some practices which are good according to my anaysis and evaluation. Religions are just like transportation in reaching the destination towards God.

i had just taken up my philo on religion last semester. one of our discussion is the authenticity of religion... i think, we have to give respect to other religion... I also believe that we worship the same God so we don't have to be rude to others of different religion.
