Simple baking recipe for christmas

I want to bake my kids a cake or something for christmas, and I need a simple recipe. I know its still 2 months to go but I need to try out first. I don't like a last min. Thanx.

The simplest cookie recipe I can think of would be shortbread, which is essentially just 3 parts flour, 2 parts butter and 1 part sugar (for example: 6 oz flour, 4 oz butter, 2 oz sugar) with a splash of vanilla. Allrecipes.com has a good selection, and so does the BBC food website.

I would say your best bet would be to check out the cakes and desserts section of Allrecipes.com....You should find a lot of great and simple ideas there..

ah sorry. i though you are giving some recipes. i think there are lots in the net you can search it out.
