I think that a great task for parents is to cultivate their children's virtues, including kindness,deligence,bravery,perseverance,self-confidence and independence, etc. These virtues will benefit ghe children through their whole life.Do you think so?

I think that about this subject the most important philosopher who can be followed in his theachings is Dewey. For my son, I think that the best education would be one not cancelling his own intelligence and judgment. Everithing else follows, and comes out naturally from this.

Well said.I agree with you.How to raise children is very important. Many parents don't know how to love their children.Beside raising their virtues, parents must communicate with their children freqently.

I always wanted my children to be have deep faith in God, love God more, and follow His wants. I want them also to live a very simple and peaceful life. With a stable job, enough money to spend for their chosen lifestyle, a family of their won, and an abiding and helpful citizen. Sounds very ideal but I know it is possible.
