noli eala back in the ball-game

NOLI EALA is back as commissioner of the newly formed league sanction by SBP, the league is called LIGA PILIPINAS. It's a merger between NBC and MVBA. Will Mr.EALA suceed to make this league a threat to the PBA??? This league is patterned after the defunct MBA league-regional base teams.

Snakeviper8, welcome to mylot! I have also read in the papers about Noli Eala's appointment as commissioner of a newly-formed basketball league. I believe that the new league, if given the same attention Eala had given to the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) when he was still its commissioner, will really be a threat to the PBA because since, as you mentioned, it will have the same format as the defunct Metropolitan Basketball Association (MBA) then it is no different to the National Basketball Association's format where each team represents a region or a province.
