With due respect to the nice Canadian above, even though I am in and from the US, yes, I, too, think it is horrible and an affront to all people of sensitivity. My point is just that some people (no matter where you go) will do anything for money. In San Francisco, every year there are people who dress up in nun's costume and extreme makeup and cavort on the streets this way. Even though I am not Catholic, I am offended by that behavior as well.

We simply "vote with the remote" -- that is to say, we don't watch that sort of show. But when you raise the issue of offensive programming, in my opinion MOST of it is offensive. On the other hand, the enemy you can see is far less dangerous than the enemy you cannot see, if you understand what I am saying. I don't actually watch the television very much.

Sounds like a pretty realistic show. I have never seen or heard of it. But, I saw another post on hear where someone called them hypocritcal for cursing and then praying later on. I know that a lot of people judge children of God as hypocrites when they do such things.
The thing of it is that we are called children of God for a reason. You are born again and you grow and mature in the ways of God. Just the same as you are not born perfect, you are not born again perfect. You have to grow, learn, and be taught by the word of God. This is a life long process.

You dont run around cursing someone out and then Pray to God. SORRY! That is most definately a hypocrite. They can be the God fearing people that they claim to be and not curse on this show.
Hypocrisy: The professing of beliefs or virtues one does not possess.
They say God Dam.n more than any show on earth, how can they let those words fall from their mouths and then pray for Gods protection? Im quite sure the Bible teaches people NOT to use the Lords name in vain. How much do you have to grow, how many teachings do you need before you STOP doing this? LOL Get real.

It is because the shows originated from the States. In Canada, they would be discouraged from doing so. They want to show people their faith and that they are not depending on themselves. People who pray have a better chance as long as they are praying for God's guidance and not that they can beat the other guy or beet the crap out of him. God decides whether to grant someone success or not. HE might say no and one has to pray in the right spirit.

LOL Oh I cant help but laugh. Dog the Bounty Hunter is a joke, one minute hes cursing his way through a scene, then before they go off to hunt, they pray for protection. Such hypocracy! lol
No I dont think that you have a better chance at being successful through prayer, because when you pray you are supposed to ONLY Thank the Lord for your blessings and not ask for anything. He knows whats in your heart, or supposed to, there for you needn't ask.
This is strictly my opinion from my experience with God and prayer.

LOL I dont know what they are thinking honey. Its crap though, and anyone defending their actions are hypocrites too. They are grown people and dont need to be told that using profanity and the Lords name in vain is hypocritical. Not too mention blasphemous. Acutally is more blasphemous than hypocritical.
