When i first took up internet connection to my pc i took it as broadband which is much faster and more over economical too..dial up is very slow adn takes longer duration to download a page..It only cost me Rs.250/- or $7 per month for a broadband connection with 2 mbps speed connectivity..

dont worry about using dial-up. I also want to subscride to dsl and high speed internet connection, but am finding the monthly fee still too high. I'm now using prepaid cards. At least i can limit my usage on the internet. Provided you have important sites that need fast connection , being on dial-up is ok with me for the meantime.

yup, im still on dial-up. unfortunatly, but its all i can afford right now, and at unlimited hourse for $10.95 per month, thats a pretty good deal in my opinion! ive never even had any faster service..ever lol! but i can imagine how horribly slow it must feel to have had cable then having to go back to dial-up..must drive you crazy!
