Browsing the Net....

I find myself browsing the Internet on a daily basis. It's almost addictive! There's just so much interesting information out there on the "Information Super Highway". I'd say I at least put in a good 2-4 hours a day browsing and visiting different links. I mostly check out different work-at-home opportunities and freebie sites. How about you?... how much time do you spend a day glued to the Internet and what are you favorite categories of interest?

I spend most of the day browsing on the net also! But I am leery of those work-at-home opportunities, because I've already been burned, they want you to sign up with them, but it costs money, and they make money when you sign up, and the way you make money, is signing somebody else up! I'ts just a pyramid scheme, and I don't fall for it! The net really is addictive, because it's so useful for everything! For instance I use it to; download music and make CD's for people, find the loan values for different autos to buy, find car parts, find musical instruments to buy, not to mention, e-mailing with friends and family, ordering pizza, ordering clothes one time, check my health records at the VA website, check the interest rates for savings accounts, take tax classes online, banking services, checking the lotto numbers, I'm in a band so I look for song lyrics that I need sometimes, I'm in a guitar forum website, where we discuss guitar playing,I scrounge around on e-bay sometimes, during tax time I use the IRS website for help, dictionary, send greeting and birthday cards, and the list goes on and on! Actually, it's a full time job, I just have to take some time off once in a while to go work!

For me aside from browsing, I am addicted with checking my emails. Sometimes, it is addictive when we surf everyday. I do not have internet access in our house but I try to browse every time I come to work. There is something missing during my day-off. I miss checking my emails and the updates at friendster aside from my earnings in mylot.

Funny you mentioned email. I just found a MyLot alert that you replied to this topic. It was buried in over 3000 emails that I just haven't got around to deleting. Those spammers and junk/worthless emails clog up my email box from the good ones like yours. I don't know how to keep my email account clean anymore - It's getting ridiculous!!
