i won't say that i am against the sacrament of marriage. but i am no longer convinced by its power. you see, as abortion rises up uncontrollably, so is divorce and annulment. everytime i watch tv, there are new couples who go crazy over each other then after a week or so, they go grazy because of each other. as i read a newspaper, another couple went separate ways. as i go home, neighbors would talk about how our other neighbor would throw things to her husband or how the husband punched the wife. how about the promises they uttered during the wedding ceremony? through thick and thin..till death do us part...how about that? i opened a discussion some time ago about living-in before marriage..some have really disagreed. but some have agreed. whatever our decisions would be..we'll be fine as long as we know how to handle every situation. may the unresolved issues of married couples be resolved. and may they promises be kept and fulfilled.

Don't let others opinion influenced your thought. Trust what you should trust. Convince yourself. Good luck, dear.

I think the problem right now is people making wrong choices. They instantly jump into getting married too soon not realizing that they are not compatible when they are into it already. What I think is ideal is first learn from one another not neccessarily getting into living in.... Don't be blinded by your emotions and instead be aware of the consequences of your actions because its all about choices that makes the big difference.

Do you still unbelieve in power of marriage. We the Indians have a great faith in marriage. It is one of the strong institution on which the religion is based. Too much of economic independence and free dom people have, they have given go by for all the marriages and hence for silly reasons, people are changing husbands/wives like changing shirts. In Indian society, one in million will have a divorce. Now lot of love marriages are taking place, once the honey is suck, or lemon is squeezed, the girl or a man is just thrown in gutters. I hate this western culture slowly creeping in our country due to globalization. Those who lack future thinking, those who have no faith in building a strong family, get into such acts as "live together", "keep changing relationship" etc.

Well, I believe that marriage has nothing to do with abortion, with the couples fight or the failure of the couples to live together. I believe that it is because couples just enter marriage without understanding what they are entering. When we get married, we are only blessed by the sacrament of marriage. So I am not against the sacrament of marriage but I should say that before you enter into marriage, the couple must be sure with themselves.

Yes, i have always believed in the sacrament of marriage i do believe in it even now. Marriage is an event where the whole life changes to a beautiful world. We know that there is another person with us traveling along the road of life with us and that commitment which means that our partner will never leave us. Marriage is divine. It is about keeping the promises and being happy. Small problems can always be resolved but there is nothing like living with a partner after marriage and taking life from there towards our goal and future.

Haha that's funny -- "going crazy because of each other". Yeah relationships really are very difficult to maintain. I'm going crazy myself.
