Will you dare to tell your best friend that she has halitosis or bad breath. Here is a simple test to check whether you have the problem.Lick the inside of your wrist.Wait for ten seconds and sniff. If the smell is unpleasant it's likely that your breath is too.

i think i don't have the courage to tell my friend that he or she has bad breath... but is usually send the messege by covering my nose whenever i talk to them... they won't say anything but i think they get the messege... It would offend them if i tell them face to face...

Words are not the only medium of expression.Conduct may often convey as clearly as words or even more strongly a message of dissent or acceptance

well, start it off with saying that you have something to tell her that you're really concerned about and that you hope it won't offend her. Then tell her as politely or kindly as possible. If she's aware of it and asks your help you better have some solution up your sleeve or recommend her to a good doctor you know. But if she's not aware of it well then it might come as quite a shock to her at first (but i doubt it if she couldn't smell her own breath!). She probably wouldn't be offended that much if she's your best friend because you're showing that you care about her and her situation by telling her that she does have bad breath.
