If you have read my past threads, you all know that I turned 18 last week. Well, today, 20 minutes ago matter of fact, I bought my first lotto ticket. (I'm trying to paint a visual picture/tell a story to make this Thread more interesting so bare with me and my creative mind right now, please) The setting was a convenience store. The ticket was a $2.00 Green Stuff (Texas Lottery) I got out, just looking for something to drink, but then upon checking out realized that I could buy a lotto ticket now!! Oh man, which one?! There were so many! $1 tickets all the way through $25 tickets! (Damn, I thought.) lol I stuck to a green ticket (the color of money) and said, "I'll take THAT one.""Match any of YOUR NUMBERS to either WINNING NUMBER, win PRIZE shown for that number. Reveal a "3X" symbol, win 3 times the PRIZE shown for that symbol. Reveal a "6X" symbol, win 6 times the PRIZE for that symbol." Googly-eyed, I was ready. I paid the total: $6.51 (Monster "Big Black" coffee drink, Rice Krispy bar, 6-pack of Doritos jalapeno crackers, and the ticket...oh, and M&M's) I ran back to my Jeep and got out a 2005 shiny penny. I scratched, scratched, scratched my back, then finished scratching. The Winning Numbers were 9 and 4. My numbers were 8, 20, 11, 1, 15, 16, 10, 14, 19 and.........13. //face turns to a frown, then a black screen// the end. Might as well have ripped up the two Washingtons and thrown them out of my car window while driving.:(
