"What a girl wants"-the movie

has anyone seen this film. I watched it tonight on WE. It stars Amanda Bynes as an American free spirit who travels to England to meet the father that she has never known, played by Colin Firth. He is a politician striving for the prime ministry and he is engaged to a socialite. Daphne, Amanda's Charactor, changes his life and his way of thinking over the time she stays with him. It is such a fantastic movie and great for the whole family.
So, have you seen this film? If so, what do you think.

yes, i saw this movie...several times actually and i really liked it. I think it took his daughter standing up to him to make him change. I thought it was very well played out.

Oh i know it. i wanted to jump through the tv and beat the crap out of that woman. LOL! That is just insane that she did that, but then again that's why I don't make movies I reckon. LOL

Oh I know. that part was great. I try and watch that movie whenever it comes on tv or when i can get it away from my mother. LOL!

Yes, I do. I think I watched this 2-3 years ago. I liked this movie and I watched it a couple of times already. I especially liked when Daphne walked on the catwalk and she fell on Prince Charles look-alike's lap. It was hilarious.

If I hadn't known better I would have assumed that the look-alike is really Prince Charles. I like Daphne's character especially her fashion sense.

YES! =P I've seen this movie too I love it. Amanda Bynes is a really cute actress, she's so goofy and clutzy in her movies! In a good way lol. I also like Colin Firth, he is a good actor that isn't given enough credit (I think).

It's funny, because my 2 youngest girls were hooked on The Amanda Bynes show on Nickolodean and I used to watch it with them. My husband would start putting the show on when the kids were not even around. So a couple of years ago, I saw this movie on Pay per view and I put it on and watched it. Now, everytime I see it on TV we watch it.
I also love colin firth. He's a great actor and a nice looking man. He played the part of father and politician very well.

I haven't watched this movie yet but i have heard many saying that this film has been nicely done. As far i have heard, it has a good story line and seems to be having good comedy also. So i guess this movie will be a good one and i am giong to rent it and watch it tonight.
