Few people appear to have understood this saying of Jesus. They are continually looking elsewhere for something that can only be found within themselves. If we are going to truly know God, we must go within. God is not to be found in noise and confusion, but in solutude and quiet. Read again 1 Kings 19:11-12, God was not in the wind, the earthquake or the fire, but in the still small voice. My Blessings to all.

Thank you for bringing this one out, I know that these words are meant for those who believes in Him and not for those who pretends to believe Him. I'm surprised that someone who does not belong to this post has somehow gotten here, we should all be careful of them. God's kingdom is indeed within us, it is in our hearts. It lives in us, His children and followers..

God is to be found ALL around us. Yes even in confusion and sadness he is with us. He will never leave you if you believe. I do believe and I know he is always with me.

Be careful, you're treading on dangerous ground. The early Gnostics believed that we would find God within ourselves. For this they were branded heretics. The priests and bishops did not like the idea that man could find God within himself. If we can read the scriptures, understand them and hear that still small voice, what do we need a preacher for?

Hi Chiang_Mai_boy, Do I detect some understanding here? Maybe we don't need preachers, but only equals who help and advise each other. Blessings.

I live in a very peaceful environment and this is why I can see God in the trees, birds, wildlife, flowers etc etc.
