I hope you will not mistake me for writing it. I was in college and there was a toastmaster's club where youngsters are given a topic and they are supposed to speak for 2 minutes on the topic. My friend was given a topic "my foot" He is actually a nervous fellow, never faced an audience and he asked my tip. I told him to go to dias and say it in an anger Myyyy Foot. Only two words he uttered in a dramatic way and needless to say he walked away with a prize. There was a great man called Vinoba Bhave in our country who had travelled by walk to every nook and corner of the country. His mission? To get the land for landless from the landlords. It was a great moment and I havenot seen another bhave. Mahatma Gandhi, the great man of 20th century also walked miles and miles during his campaign against British. IN US, there was a great man called Johny, he walked length and bredth of USA. Mission - he carried apple seed and went on planting the apple seds and asked the locals to take care of it. That was in 1830 or 1850s. Today USA is one of the largest producer of apples. He instigated it and people liked it and followed it. What is your Mission in taking a walk around the world? Thanks for giving a BR to my stupidest answer. Have a nice day.

I like traveling around the world but not all the time on foot. I afraid I could not join your trip as I could not tolerate the hardship of traveling on foot only. If travel for long journey which needs to take several hours over mountains and seas I prefer to take a flight. If it needs to cross a river without any bridge I would prefer to take a boat rather than swimming across it. It is a good idea to travel on foot as you could see more of the world in the much relaxed and flexible manner. Happy journey on foot!
