almost 18

i'm needing some input for others, about their points on, i'm almost 18, and should be able to do what i want when i want. in which each of us has gone through this, let me read some insight on this issue.

Woah! Slow down. turning 18 doesn't make you invinsible. Trust me on that one. Wow, it is a big responsibility for you. Depending on where you live, you will be a legal adult. Yeah, your life will be your own. Just remember that you need to take responsibility for who you are and how you behave and to listen to advice your parents give and then file it away for a rainy day. Hhhhmmmm. If you were my child living under my roof, then the household rules would apply. It is a very scary world out there, and just 'cos you will be 18 doesn't mean you know it all. Take time and be safe in finding who you are.

If you live with your parents still, you have to abide by their rules or find your own place to live.
If you can afford to do that, go for it. If you can't, I'd sit down and talk to your parents about things you'd like to change.
Ideas..
Don't ask to get rid of the curfew. Just extend it until later. Negotiation will get you far.
