Well I would normally say no but it depends on the times. For example back in the wild west days I figure it was better to be street smart then in was to be book smart because life back then was all about survival and so on but where as now a days your better of with book smarts if you want to be successful but if your already living on the streets then yo better be street smart to survive. Whats your opinions?

If you would ask me I could say that neither being a book smart nor a street smart is better. This is because its better to be both, being a book smart is really what we need today with our modernizing world but what can books do to our world if you dont know how to socialize with the people and that is where you use your knowledge/skills of being a street smart. In this, I could say that the only way to be a better person and to have a better world is to have an equally balanced knowledge or skills about everything.

I'd say they are both really important, in different times and places. It all depends on the situation, which will be more appropriate and useful.

I think street smart has been and will always be the superior level of intelligence.
