Is God really necessary? Can people lived a happy and fulfilling life without a belief in God? There is at least one place in the world where it seems to work just fine. The cartoon is from: http://russellsteapot.com/comics/2007/Dra-Til-Helvete.html

Those who claim to be atheist believe in God but unknowingly. In fact they are looking for Him, they are searching but they don't know they are actually. God breathe His spirit into the face of the soil He molded which became Adam. Whatever man knows to be good is in the Holy Bible which is the word of God. Everything is in the Holy Bible and there's nothing new so what would those who do not believe in God be proud of? If they are happy and live life to the fullest, that's because of God. They do not live by their own power, do they? Or anybody? They could not at all provide for themselves - the sunshine and rain and air and everything come from God.

For me it will be no problem to live in a country that is predominantly atheist. I will mind my business and let them mind their business. Problem will come when they will start questioning me about my belief. Now, God is really necessary for me to live a happy life. People may live happily without a belief in God. They are welcome to it. For me it is like this - a person loves his wife and can not live without her, but I can live without his wife.
