Philippine Politics Gone Bad

I wonder what is wrong with our politics and why do we keep on electing officials that are either corrupt or from a family of traditional politicians. I'm not saying that they are all corrupt but why is it that after all these years, we still keep on electing these guys even if we know they can do nothing. So who to blame here? The system or the voting public? Why?

well.. one factor is the fact that most filipinos vote either because of friendship, kinship, or the ever annoying "utang na loob". more than 50% of filipinos vote particular people for the simplest annoying reason that their neighbor told them to do so. and that doesn't even require any bribe. . another factor is the fact that these corrupt politicians have such a vast network of "paid" officials to get their positions. most of the time, our votes aren't really counted since these "paid" officials fix the results.

Amen to that. So how can we change all these? Any suggestion?

The only way to change this is by creating a fatal bobm that will kill all corrupt peeps... hehehehe... seriously this is already contagious and hard to change unless it will came from the heads of these but why? they say that 1 peso spent for the campaign will be 1M in return so why not bribe right? Thats how money talks and how people get so much interest in politics than showbiz. This is the filipino life we are good in front of other nations but deep inside we are more than a rotten fish coz we dont know how to stand on our own and how to earn money in the hardest posible way... That is why there are many tax evaders, who is desperate to at least get even with the corrupt politicians

hmmm.. if that fatal bomb can be designed to hit only those darn corrupt people, then why not? hahaha.. amen to that man! c',)
